About Us
JABO Consulting LLC was founded by Jamal A. Bowman. Jamal has nearly 20 years of security management and technical security services experience. He specializes in physical security design, security technology, security planning, security request for proposal preparation, and security project management. Jamal's business acumen spans across industries and include: food & beverage processing, retail, healthcare, logistics, critical infrastructure, utilities, higher education, and law enforcement.
He has developed and led large scale security installation projects at power generation plants, electric substations, data centers, retail centers, warehouses, college campuses, research facilities, police stations, and medical facilities.

Jamal earned his college undergraduate degree from Eastern Kentucky University, where he majored in Criminal Justice and minored in Assets Protection Management. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. Jamal is a Certified Protection Professional. This board certified designation is considered the gold standard for security professionals and is accredited by the American Society for Industrial Security. He also holds the distinction of Certified Security Project Manager through the Security Industry Association.

His volunteer work includes serving as a member of the Board of Directors for the Louisville Jefferson County Riverport Authority and coaching youth sports.
